my new home =)

It was only yesterday when I was sitting in my little cage (I prefer to call it a fish tank) with my 3 brothers, when these 2 strangers came and took me out. They took turns to cradle me and stroked me while i sat shivering in the girl's arms. "please take me home!" i thought, looking at them longingly, but sadly they put me back in the 'tank' and I watched as they disappeared slowly into the distance...

I was so happy today when I smelt the familiar smell of the girl again... she had come to take me home! I sat in her lap, shivering again from the unfamiliar feel of being in the 'outside world'. It was here where I first met Benji, a white-grey shitzu maltese. It was funny cos' he peed while in the store.. how rude... I must learn not to do the same...

Then I had my first car ride home - it felt weird but comfy cos' I was snuggled up in the lap of my new mummy... We arrived 'home' n' I was finally allowed to walk on my own. I feel a little clumsy right now cos' the floor is different... a bit fluffy... I am used to shredded paper of some sort. I cannot really go many places either - it must be cos' I'm only 8 wks old, I also think it's cos my legs are too short - and everything looks really high and big to me...

I hope I get used to this place soon! I felt excited and sleepy all at once... my life in my new home has begun!
